Children's Ministry

Children's Christian Education (CE) Classes are held on Sundays after the Worship Service during the school year.  Classes are from 11:00am-12:00pm.   There are classes for Infants-5th Grade. For the younger classes, we use curriculum from Great Commission Publications (which is the joint publishing arm of the Orthodox Presbyterian Church and our denomination, the Presbyterian Church in America). Our Catechesis Class (4th-5th grade) uses Understanding the Faith by Stephen Smallman. During the Christian Education hour, children also spend time learning a song of the month. On occasion, they lead the congregation in singing that song during corporate worship.

The nursery at Trinity serves children from birth through preschool age. When in the nursery, children will hear and feel the love of our Father. Their physical and emotional needs are the highest priority to our volunteers. Because babies learn to speak by hearing, they will hear sounds of worship projected through speakers from the sanctuary in the hope that that worship will shape their own speech as well as their concept of His people, The Church.

Allergy Alert: We work to provide age-appropriate snacks that are safe to have in a room with any allergy a child might have. While we do not bring nuts into our building and all snacks we provide are nut-free, we cannot guarantee that they don't come in with others. If your child has a specific allergy, please let us know upon check-in. You are always welcome to view the packaging of the snacks we provide in order to feel at ease about what we are giving your child while they are in our care.
