5:00pm – 4:00pm
TRINITY PCA brothers, neighbors and friends (Age 21 and up), WELCOME to the 2017 TRINITY Men’s Retreat taking place from Friday 27 Oct 6 PM, to Saturday 28 Oct 2 PM.
Our Speaker will be:
|David Cassidy has been serving as Lead Pastor at Christ Community Church in Franklin, Tennessee since 2014. After growing up in Indiana, he served churches in England, Kentucky, and Texas before settling in Franklin, Tennessee with his wife, Toni, and the youngest of their three children.
David enjoys writing, photography, movies, culinary arts, poetry, reading all manner of books and screenplays, hiking around Montana, and is a life-long fan of the Packers, Cubs, Texas Longhorns, and Arsenal.
Bob & Bridget Greenwood have volunteered their property to host this event. The basic idea is a Pioneer’s/Pilgrim’s tent camp surrounding a fish pond and a bon fire with ample food and beverages. We will gather between 5-6 PM at the Greenwood’s to share an outdoor meal starting at 6 PM. Following dinner we have some time to show off our outdoor skills with some archery and a fishing contest, trying to clear Bob’s pond of “Walter”, a huge largemouth bass that has been devastating his fish population over the past couple of years. Feel free to take your own favorite fishing gear and bait. No explosives allowed!
At 8 PM we will enjoy part I of a presentation by David Cassidy “Unleashing the New Adam in Us”. The presentation will be followed by discussion and prayer to close no later than 10 PM.
Following the presentation we will continue to fellowship around the camp fire with a beverage. Either overnight on the property in your own tent, or go home and enjoy the comfort of your own bed.
The next morning we will gather for breakfast starting around 8 AM. At around 10 AM David will complete his presentation with Part II of “Unleashing the New Adam in Us”, again followed by discussion, prayer and fellowship. The retreat will conclude around 2 PM.
Cost $25.00 pp ($15.00 pp for students). For more information, contact Pleun (615) 517-4357.
